Yael began facilitating workshops on reproductive health 13 years ago for the New York Civil Liberties Union and now develops her own consent and pleasure-based sex education curriculum. Yael co-founded QC Sexploration and Information Group at Queens College, a peer sex education team, and recently started her own company, Kaleidoscope Vibrations, LLC to further her work. One current focus is body positivity and representation which she tackles through the Diverse Bodies Project, a photo-interview series, and her BodyLove workshop series.
Jennifer Minor

Jennifer Minor is psychotherapist that specializes in sexuality, working from a sex-positive framework. Jennifer believes exploring sexuality can help navigate the blocks that keep us from being our most authentic selves, experiencing greater intimacy within ourselves and with our loved ones. She teaches that healthy sexuality is not just about sex, and has an integral part of how we interact within ourselves and the world around us. Aside from being a Mental Health professional, Jennifer is an advocate for mental health awareness in communities of Color and is the Founder of Austin Therapists of Color, a professional meetup that provides a safe, supportive space for mental health professionals working in clinics, hospitals, non-profits, government, academia, private practice and other therapeutic settings.
Nhakia Outland
Founder - Prevention Meets Fashion
Nhakia Outland, MSW is a mother of three children ages 19, 16, and 8. She has worked in the social service field in different capacities for over 10 years advocating and being an ally for underserved and marginalized individuals, families, and communities. She is also a social worker, health insurance specialist, sex educator, consultant, LGBTQ advocate and ally, fashionista, entrepreneur, and she wears many other hats in Philadelphia, PA. Currently, she works as a Prevention Navigator/Supervisor for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH). In this capacity, she works with Black and Latino Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) and Transgender Women and Men of Color who are risk for acquiring HIV. However, Nhakia’s pride and joy are her two sexual health businesses, Prevention is Key Consulting, LLC and Prevention Meets Fashion. Prevention is Key Consulting, LLC, a for profit sexual health consulting business that provides inclusive and supportive education, training, and consultation services on sexual and reproductive health (SRH), HIV, AIDS, STI/STD prevention and other topics. Our mission is to de-stigmatize the shame around issues of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and to promote the importance of SRH in overall health and well-being. Prevention Meets Fashion (converting to nonprofit) designs educational curriculum, workshops and events that provide community a creative way to learn inclusive sex education and brings awareness to the need of sexual health education to communities of color, especially women of color by using fashion as a teaching tool. Our mission is to “Increase SEXual Health knowledge through Fashion”. In Nhakia’s approach to sexual health awareness, she combines out of the box thinking, fashion, art, and social work to engage community.

On the academic front, Nhakia received her Bachelor's degree from Chestnut Hill College in Human Service and Women Studies in Philadelphia, PA before earning her Master's in Social Work (MSW) degree in Community and Policy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Nhakia also has several certificates and certifications.
