LGBTQ+ is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer. This is not it, there are many other defined and undefined sexual orientations and preferences. Some other defined identities are asexual, intersex and pansexual. These terms describe a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity. Though for many LGBTQ is a mysterious word, queer people have always existed. It is systematic social oppression and discrimination that made their existence hushed in society to a point were rights for them is a revolution.
